International Ratings
📌 Burgundy Report : 92 / 100
“Rich, textural Bourgogne Blanc with fine minerality and tension — old-vine depth, beautifully understated.”
Terroir & Vineyard
Situated on elevated, east-facing slopes near the border of Fixin,
the lieu-dit La Champagne derives from the old Burgundian word for an open highland.
Old-vine Chardonnay grows in thin limestone-clay soils, yielding naturally low crops and remarkable concentration.
The exposure and elevation contribute to both vibrant minerality and creamy depth.
Style
A Chardonnay of graceful power — ripe white peach, lemon zest, hazelnut, and a touch of beeswax.
On the palate, it unfolds with creamy texture balanced by precise acidity,
finishing long, saline, and elegant.
Vinification

Hand-harvested from old vines, gently pressed and fermented in neutral French oak barrels.
Aged 12–14 months in used barrels only, preserving purity and a natural, oily richness without overt oak influence.

Tasting Notes
Generous yet refined, the nose unfolds with ripe white peach, citrus peel, almond cream, and beeswax,
followed by hints of crushed limestone and roasted hazelnut.
The palate is supple and textural, coating the mouth with rich, oily depth balanced by lively acidity.
Long, saline, and precise on the finish, it captures both the concentration of old vines and the purity of Naddef’s restrained winemaking.
