Les Cazetiers, one of Gevrey-Chambertin’s most esteemed Premier Cru vineyards, neighbors the legendary Clos Saint-Jacques. With its excellent exposition and complex clay-limestone-gravel terroir, it yields wines of both power and finesse. Philippe Naddef’s 2022 vintage is a striking interpretation of this noble site.
The wine opens with intense aromas of black cherry, raspberry, dried rose petals, and cedar, underlined by subtle mineral notes and sweet spices. On the palate, it delivers concentrated fruit with refined structure — silky yet firm tannins, bright acidity, and a long, lingering finish that echoes floral and stony nuances.
Beautifully expressive even in youth, this wine also promises excellent aging potential over the next decade or more.
A perfect companion to slow-braised lamb, duck breast, or dishes with truffle-infused mushrooms.
